I didnt know until I read it in this link that rockwool was made largely out of garbage.
Rockwoolâs base is volcanic-rock basaltâheated to a scorching 3,000 degrees Fahrenheit until it liquefiesâthen mixed with slag, a by-product from steel that generally ends up in landfills.

Funyuns mom done out grew the 4x4 tent just in time!!! Been there for 2.5 months and now Sheâs being transplanted to the greenhouse next week right after I snag a bunch more cuts from her LOL!!!

I banished it to a windowsill for disease concerns, but it appears healthy. Maybe it is a conjoined embryo? Note the fan leaf with a double blade.
I also wonder if this trait would be passed to offspring. I could pollinate it and find out.

It does only have the one set of that abnormality. Wouldnât that lean more towards growing out or past the possible mutation or stress factor? Regardless first Iâve seen of that leaf structure to show which is awesome to say the least. I wonder if it would lead to a more efficient photosynthesis or possible for better perspiration?

Seeking feedback. Backyard grow in NorCal. Where usually flower starts way later than this time of year. 6 plants 5 are clones we mothered up and put all of them in the ground may 20th when we were done taking cuts from them. 6th plant was from a PCG feminized seed pack. Itâs all PCG gear but all are clones except for the one feminized seed plant.
4 of the plants are right next to our concrete septic tank thatâs 100 years old. Itâs not a capped tank, itâs a concrete cube with rubber mats and wood boards as the âsealâ. Two weeks ago we had to remove the cover to the tank, started digging out all the solids and eventually pumped the whole thing and remaining liquid septic a week ago. Itâs been off gassing something awful all day since we took the seal off two weeks ago.
The 4 plants around the septic tank have started early flowering (is it possible some high concentration of phos or something from the septic tank off gassing next to them all day for two weeks kicked them into early flower? And also somehow reversed the fem seedling?)

The fem seedling looks to me like somehow itâs a male which I thought is a 99% improbability or itâs a hermaphrodite but never actually a male. But when I look at this fem seedling plant it doesnât look like itâs flowering at all itâs just making some solid pollen sacs

On the surface im hype to be getting pollen from this as the PCG Peaches (Peach Panther x Moroccan Peaches) washed and grew better for us last year than the straight Moroccan peaches. But from what I understand a fem seedling showing pollen usually is a hermaphrodite that shows via bananas in the flower but I just see straight pollen sacs?
The clone only plants around the septic tank are just early flowering, not really seeing any signs of pollen or Nanners just starting to flower early.
I have some of the same feminized from seed PCG Peaches in another garden still raging in veg and my first thought is hit one of them in August with the pollen that comes from these pollen sacs instead of trying to find the same seed pack next year. The way this plant looks more like just straight pollen sacs not a plant thatâs gonna flower and make them hermaphrodited Nanners. But that doesnât make sense to me based on what I see everywhere saying a feminized seedpack giving you a true male is 99% improbability and normally it only presents actually like a stressed out herm plant. Should I not try use the incoming pollen back onto a non stressed fem seedling of the same strain in another garden later this season? Is there something that could be off gassing from the nasty old septic tank that is causing a reversal - and making these 4 plants flower early? The other two plants in the garden that arenât near the tank are still maintaining veg.
The century old concrete septic pit thatâs been off gassing heavy for a couple weeks before and after we shoveled it and drained it (we have a collapsed septic line) can see one of the 4 plants about 4 feet away from the tank.
Kill it now before the pollen sacs open. Youâll make fem seeds, but with a propensity to herm. I did this a long time ago when it was hard to get genetics, and eventually about 75% of my fem seeds would make hermie plants. These are not genes you want to reproduce.

Second this advice.
Conceding and ripping her up today. If there was a way to keep iterating through a few cycles to eventually lead to more stable seeds of this strain I would. Itâs a great strain been running for two years now and is hard to find
