Newb Distillate Question bleaching/AC

Hey,

I’m just about to start a medium sized run (for me) and I"m going to use charcoal and acid activated bleaching clay for the first time. When it’s in the boiling flask do people use the stir bar at the same time? Does the AC scratch in inside of the glass when it’s being stirred? Is it still ok when the run goes near dry? Will it wreck equipment? Is there a standard method for this?

Yeah it will scratch your boiling flask mildly over time. I’m only comfortable doing it because mines american made but of course theres still the possibility of it actually cracking over time.

Kinda thought so, I guess flasks are cheap in relation to what comes out of them :stuck_out_tongue:
