New to distillation, in need of advice

Hey you guys, I’m pretty experienced when it comes to hydrocarbon extracts, but this will be my start of getting into distillation. I am going to be running my crude out of a 5lbs extractor, with room temp n-butane. I have a few questions:

  1. Will I need a 2L or 5L setup for that volume?
  2. I am looking to buy a complete package from OpenSourceSteel, is there any other places you would advise over them in the $3k-$5k range?
  3. Would you advise any other methods of making my crude?
  4. Where should I start in learning about how to run a distillation setup from the ground up?

  1. the people I see doing butane here are @Killa12345 and @Dred_pirate and they would be a good place to start
  2. Everyone here will advise ethanol at any scale due to its efficiency

Welcome,
Cls extracted crude is fine espesialy working at room temperature
Dehydrate your gas with Molecular sieves ?
How much biomass can You get and what type of biomass
Clippings or beter ?
How long does iT take You to blast 3 liters of crude ?
If You are starting i would recomend a 2 liter setup atleast mistakes don t cost so much
Start learning and Reading about winterization
And other cleaning sop s
Carbon C bleach Brine wash and all of @Beaker sops
Make sure No mater Which size glass wear You buy your vacuum pump have at least 15 cfm
