New close loop

Hello everyone,
I just bought this used close loop system. It came with a submarine, two chilling coils, an injection manifold, two collections, a 70lb recovery tank, dessicant chamber and two large tubes( I was told 10lbs) and some filter plates. One tube is jacketed and the other is not. As you can tell from the picture, it is pretty bare boned. I bought the system to initially do crude, but very soon I will be doing color remediated slabs and sauce.
What accessories, parts or upgrades should I buy ?

Any liquid line you have should be that stainless steel braided hose not the black ones. Black ones are ok for gas lines

You should have your vapor port from the lfe base to the ffp manifold coming from the. Bottom of the manifold on the 2” if ur going to mount it , not from one of the four ports. Also u should get an explosion proof fan

If you have some time to spare, https://qualitystainlessparts.com/ will have you some killer deals and proper equpment

Care to elaborate on that comment?

Personally they seem more sanitary.

The main reason is that liquid butane that has been chilled with dry ice will be below the temperature the black hoses are rated for

the outer coating fails if they flex while cold.
this leads to fun in the lab.

Really. I can use the black ones for recovery? What about if I’m active? What type of hose are these? Just Incase I need a hose fast

hot gas/compressed recovery is ok, as these are usually ‘hydraulic’ hoses and rated for heat.

@Relaxedextracts

I would stay away from making crude on this system. If you would like to save some money buying the right upgrades and dialing in SOP’s for your specific system, I offer consults

i would take @Apothecary36 up on the offer. Sometimes a lesson can save a ton of money in the long run!

It does look like you have most of the parts needed. Just a bit of guidance.

Second on that no go for crude on the lfe unless u like running 100 tubes to get enough oil to make it even worth it

Aren’t they just regular stainless hoses lined with ptfe and coated with black pvc? I’ve been running them on my liquid lines for almost 2 years with no problems https://terppextractors.com/collections/accessories/products/passive-recovery-sae-hose-set

Nice, I was referring to the standard black lpg hoses. Those are exactly what you want with the stainless steel braided / ptfe.

The black bhogart hoses aren’t stainless steel braided? It’s literally just a black ptfe hose?

Yes the lp350 hoses from bhogart are nitrile. Their like hydrolic hoses
