If I add a second head to my shortpath, will I go faster?

I’m actually looking into running a second reflux column on a moonshine still and it seems like I’m reinventing the wheel here. My thoughts are that when distilling solvent, it should be fairly “simple” to create the pressure needed to distill compared to ripping high boiling point molecules (thc/cbd) through two short path heads.

It most definitely is faster. But with greater speed comes sloppier fractionation - so there’s a trade-off. The LabSociety model recommends running multiple heads for rapid first pass, and a single short wider bore head for second pass.
