We’re working to determine the general sample size required for moisture content analysis, using the Ohaus MB90 balance specifically. It looks like 10-15 grams is recommended per the manual. Ohaus guesses only 5 grams would be required for cannabis and hemp, but couldn’t say definitively. Does anyone have experience with this unit, or a similar one that could speak to the sample size they use?
I’m pretty sure I use the MB120 or the MB90, I use one gram samples but do triplicates and average the answers…

I use a Torbal BTS110 which looks very similar to the Ohaus. I typically sample one gram as well.
