I’m likely heading in for 1 day for a few meetings then doing zion and some of the national parks in that area.
I’m excited to see the lack of competition and the few companies that might remain.

It should be a much more enjoyable show to walk this year as it is back in one space. It will at least feel way less ghost-town-ish.

Not making Vegas this year, but since people are mapping shows out: if anyone does an Asia leg, there are two in November five days apart. Tokyo on the 13th and 14th, then Asia International Hemp Expo in Bangkok on the 18th to 20th at the Queen Sirikit centre. One trip instead of two if you were weighing either.
Disclosure, I help run the Tokyo one, so weigh that accordingly. Entry there is free with pre-registration.
@Sidco_Cat, on it being back in one space, does that actually help foot traffic or does it just make the quiet aisles more obvious?

@Sidco_Cat i agree. I certainly hope more people will come but the mismanagement of mjbiz is causing attendance to drop. ROI is never good at mjbiz.
Think it’d be worth going this year? Seems like all the companies operating purely on good vibes are probably out of money by now so maybe it’ll just be the competent operations left attending?

this is why im parlaying it into a 7 day national parks trip. Plane tickets are like 750-1000 to vegas now round trip. if it was just for cannabis, id probably stay home. me and my wife planned to go to zion and bryce canyon in the summer but something came up. it might be nicer when its 40F

It depends on on your goals, I guess. @Killa12345 's plan seems solid- make it into a vacation. I know a lot of companies are going to Vegas but not getting a booth or even attending the convention. They are just getting hotel rooms or hosting private events outside the convention center. The cost of booths is insane- so aside from bigger companies and Chinese vendors- not too many people want to dish out the cash to the greedy MJBIZ folks.
Some companies are really making cash in this industry(just not us!)

Organiser here, so weigh it accordingly, but Ganjineer is right and it’s worth saying out loud. Booth ROI at the big shows is bad, and it’s bad because the floor ends up being mostly exhibitors selling to each other. The people taking hotel rooms and skipping the hall have worked that out. What fixes it isn’t a better booth, it’s whether the buyers you actually need are in the building.

This is where Necann really knocks it out of the park. Tickets are $50. Even at their big Boston show. Marc understands that getting people in the building is key.
