Micro sized crystals formed in terpenes for pens

I recently put one of our terpene stocks used for cartridge making under our microscope and found many small crystals forming inside. These are almost totally naked to the eye, but I imagine could be causing some issues with the cartridges.

Has anyone else seen, or at least pondered the possibility of these forming and or getting into the inlet on cartridges?

I have seen crystals form in The Vape Pen before but that was in the early days and it was raw oil
