LPG extraction "pourno" videos

Are people just taking their phone in the booth or what!?

I don’t plan on doing that nonsense. I understand some people are setup in a hood, which would allow for the phone to be pretty close. What about everyone else though?

I dont think a phone would really constitute much of a fire hazard. No open sparks are coming into contact with the gas. I guess pulling it out of your pocket could maybe cause some static electricity build up.

I work in Denver, and I have heard about the fire department checking in on labs who post stuff like that on their ig. Even having enough solvent to be able to pour out instead of scrape they would probably come by for a check, let alone taking a phone into your booth to do a video.

The Denver FD are some of the smartest and coolest guys they have so much canna lab safety knowledge. I have learned a ton from them but they don’t play when it comes to safety and enforcement of the regs.

I figure most places will adopt similar regulations to denvers in the future so I dont mind learning all the extra stuff to keep my crew safe.

They sell c1d1 rated cell phones. Ecom instruments sells smartphones for those c1d1 environments, so if the bho porn must happen maybe consider picking one of those up.

your not a legit extractor if you dont have a c1d1 cellphone! rofl didnt even know those things existed, does that mean i can talk on one while pumping gas at the gas station xD

The conditions need to meet the lower explosion limit to cause problems. Your phone doesn’t really have anything that causes an arc of electricity, like if you pulled out a plug from the wall. As long as the booth is venting and your phone is 3 feet off the ground. I clicked the link, didn’t see a price but I’m sure that phone is expensive.

Im sure they make explosion proof phone cases, and im willing to bet that any phone thats rated as waterproof has the electrical components isolated from gas well enough. Still better safe than sorry i guess.

On 2 September 2016, Samsung suspended sales of the Galaxy Note 7 and announced an informal recall, after it was found that a manufacturing defect in the phones ’ batteries had caused some of them to generate excessive heat, resulting in fires and explosions .

I was thinking the same thing, A water proof otterbox like case, should essentially be C1D1. throw a rubberized overmolding on it, covering all potentially conductive components of the case, actually a kinda cool idea.

edit:
Holy shit look at these prices for cases

I mean if you really wanted to put your blast on blast you could set up some stationary C1d1 rated vid cameras. Set one up at your pour station, your ovens/ roto, and packaging area. Just leave out any face shots with masks on. Consumers don’t wanna see that. Sounds like a cool channel actually.

Anyone who is using a C1D1 enclosure likely has to have cameras in it. One could install a camera that could take any pourno they needed.
