Hey all. Anyone have a dean stark or clevenger apparatus kicking about they don’t use and might consider selling it to me for a decent price? I don’t want to order from China r/n… thanks a lot for any reply’s
You can also make one very easily with common adapters
It would basically be a swing arm for your short path(t shaped with , two females on both ends and male in middle, stopper placed in top female). Then a T with Female on top and males for middle and bottom. Then any round bottom
You can attached first T to your boiling flask and stopper the top port. Add other T to the middle port and add round bottom flask to the bottom port of second T.
From there , you can add whatever you want to the top port of second T

Add a reflux condenser to top of second port for best efficiency

Yes! I’ve used them for quite some time. My purpose built one broke, and I guess I never considered building one but now that I am I’m wondering why the hell I never thought to before!!!
