Light-sensitive THC/CBD

Greetings,

I heard a lot of people are talking about CBD and THC are light-sensitive. Anyone know which wavelength does the molecules absorb?

And how absorb the light will change the molecule structure?

This is my go to paper for this kind of question. I have found the conclusions by myself and the authors in regards to just how on Earth to detect cannabinoids make it seem tough. Your question about absorption spectra can be answered here.

You could put a sample into a UV-vis and scan from 300-600 to find out. The paper mention only has IR information which is extremely useless for characterization since it only identifies functional groups present in a molecule. NMR is looking at protons and their chemical environment. Mass Spec is just a large, expensive scale.
