āIf enacted, the legislation would allow adults 21 and older to purchase up to 2.5 ounces of marijuana from regulated, state-licensed retailers.ā
and the dill hole legislature in CO limits it to 28 grams
The defendants are allegedly mislabeling their vape oils as cannabis concentrates, which are not subject to the same stringent THC limits as CIPs.
This misrepresentation allowed consumers to purchase significantly more THC than legally permitted, the plaintiffs claim.
For example, instead of being limited to 500 milligrams of THC in CIPs, a customer may buy a total of 5 grams of vape oilsā11 times the legal limitāand then, on top of that, another 500 milligrams of CIPs
Can someone explain how these are NOT concentrate?
Sure, if I took PG or VG or MCT and added concentrate to make vapes, those would be CIP.
If I take BHO and decarb, then load into a cart, HTF is that not still āconcentrateā?!?
Edit: if the article is correct, and the litigants are actually claiming
The defendants are allegedly mislabeling their vape oils as cannabis concentrates, which are not subject to the same stringent THC limits as CIPs.
Then it should be thrown outā¦
Clearly Karen doesnāt have a clueā¦
This one is just an anti on a tear. Even without the crazy vape-is-an-edible nonsense, I call BS about āIām suing you because you let me buy to much weedā
Sounds similar to how Oregon has a separation of cannabis products intended for inhalation (vape) products and concentrates which donāt have a set use (even though 99% of consumers vaporize/smoke them). But putting them under āedibleā products is crazy
I happen to know one of the defendants, and theyāre a total piece of sh*t. So itās hard to feel sorry when bad things happen to bad people.
Governor Younkin vetoād same legislation last year saying - Allowing legal recreational sales will have us with āpoorly regulated dispensaries on every street cornerā and by vetoing it last time VA was left instead with 2-3 tobacco stores on every street every corner selling truly unregulated THCa and āhempā products to the public instead. If the governor is consistent he will veto this bill too unfortunately.
Younkin still baffles me to this day on how he keeps coming up with excuses for legalizing cannabis in VA.
I work at one of the facilities that is under investigation because of this.
Employees since 2020 have been telling the head grower he has a mold problem in the 5 grow rooms of 2000 plants. They then expanded and forgot to install dehumidifiers and continued the pattern.
The head grower said dont worry about it. There are no issues running a flower room at 85* F and 75 - 90% RH. Oh and all the algee on the tables blocking up the drains is good for the plants.
The company had a chance to prevent this problem but instead they fired all the people making a fuss about health concerns and moldy product that was found in the totes of product that they were packaging. They just picked out the moldy product and sold the rest.
Clowns cherry picking testing facilities who lie just to stay selling products.
Wtf! Its in a state thats always at super high humidity! Dehus should have been a basic part of every single room from day 1! Holy shit! Maybe I should get a new road bike and peddle nug like i did in harvard square 20 years ago hahaha
Since this hasnāt been posted yet, I figured Iād share some exciting news for the TN homies. Keep in mind they try this every year, but this year seems different. It seems they used most of the same verbiage from HB403 which passed last year. I also noticed last year that the email for the hemp division of the TDA got changed from industrialhemp@tda.gov to cannabis@tda.gov which was interesting to me. The bill is sponsored by a democrat, but also co-sponsored by a republican, so hopefully it will gain bipartisan support. They also raise the tax from 6% to 15% on retail. I skimmed through it, but at its current state (brand new) it doesnāt seem to have fangs yet. Time will tell if that changes.

If anyone wants them, here are the links to download the full text of each bill.
I should have linked those, thanks for that!
