Lab fails

Here are ideas and lab tries that are…less than optimal :nerd_face:.

Here is a picture of how the compound looks when I tried to run without a PID controller on my manually adjusted heating mantle. It is bloody hard to nail the temp down and this dark color represents about a 30C degree overshoot on temp. The way I use the sublimator it is critical for purity to hold the temperature in the correct range at all times.

This photo was an early attempt at DCVC seperation…yuck. :open_mouth:

This shows when I tried to use a PID controller to run an analog heating mantle and stir bar. It was a good idea until it wasn’t hehe.
