Is Vegas happening? Asking for a friend

So is anyone else really going to Vegas? I heard it all up in the air and have heard different versions of what might happen.

I was just in Vegas today. Literally just left. Most of the shows are not happening, but everything is open. Made some money, lost some money. Pretty interesting being in a casino with a mask covering your face! As far as bizcon goes, I think it’s a lil early to say. The casinos being open is a good sign though. I think they’re just gonna be SUPER diligent on making sure everyone masks up.

never gambled in my life and never will.

I need all the luck I can get so I believe it best not to waist it.

I believe that luck, just like any other energy such as love for example, is limitless. The only thing that can limit it is your own mind. I don’t gamble often, but much can be learned inside a casino if you put your mind in the right place. Everywhere and everything can be a classroom and a lesson if our ears and eyes are open. Some schools are just a lil more expensive than others I suppose

I think it will happen cause this is a money grab and who gives a fuck about some peoples health when they can make money. Mark my word…the shit happens. It will suck and about 25% of the attendence of last years! As much as you all know i like to party. I probably wont risk being in close quarters with even 10k people. I doubt they are gonna let the chinese people travel in for the conference and there goes about 25% of the people selling their vape carts.

The industry could survive and blossom if China never existed. They are a blight on the industry.

There would be absolutly no vape industry if not for china…then no real need for distillation equipment…You see where im going with this??? :joy:

That’s absolutely not true at all. The first vape products weren’t China really. Assuming a industry wouldn’t be exploited if China wasn’t here is a sham statement.

What would become the first commercially successful electronic cigarette is created in Beijing, China by Hon Lik, a 52 year old pharmacist, inventor and smoker. He reportedly created the device after his father, also a heavy smoker, dies of lung cancer.

No your right…

They showed all this on vice…

Looks like they’re planning for it to be in-person, but are also planning a virtual event to coincide with it likely as a contingency. I can’t imagine many people paying to “attend” the virtual expos.

If China dissapeared tomorrow a conglomerate would immediately fill the void in the USA and either have it made elsewhere or bring it here domestically.

Your statement isn’t accurate. You have to remember people were vaporizing dabs far before pens blew up and became a normal. The cannabis vaporizing and vapor product business explosion had nothing to do with carts and vape pens becoming popular.

Vaping was invented in China 100%

I’m not doubting that. I don’t think it would crash vaping in the USA if we all of a sudden never used carts or carriers from china in the industry.

The only reason they aren’t made here on a typical basis is because the current suppliers undercut costs with five dollars a day in labor salaries per 12 hour shift.

And if carts were made in the USA on a standard basis they wouldn’t exactly change in price since it’s not that expensive to make. Nobody has invested in massive factories here. Yet.

The problem with your statement is china aint going anywhere.

and china 100% invented what we know as “portable vape devices” For Nicotine bro way before cannabis. Im not even talking about canna vapes. just vaporizers in general.
