Do you have to dissolve, wash and clean up material in between passes or do you just jump into a second pass right away?
Have to?
Nope. Absolutely operators choice. Some chose to because they find it helps. Others prefer to do that clean up elsewhere.
Given that many consider a second pass superfluous, and others find it invaluable, you’re probably just going to have to try with and without & see how it works with the rest of your process.

Im gonna try it on this next run without material came out looking good but some Terps go in it.
I haven’t seen a multi-stage SPD, but feeding output from a WFE directly into a WFE is so common that you can buy three stage wipers…
