Hi, I have been reading a lot in this forum and I would like to start distilling, I do not know if it is better to buy this equipment in China or ask the various suppliers of this forum if they sell me and assemble the equipment, I found this SPD at $3,800 would serve me to distill crude? Thanks!
Sure that will distill crude. You don’t even need that silly chiller/heater. You can get away with $200 sousvide and a lil $20 hot water pump.

Can you link a $20 hot water pump that you’ve used? I’ve been trying to find a cheap non-submergible pump for a while now.

The chiller already had a bridge rectifier in it.
You can grab one of these little guys tho. You may already have one laying around. Standard barrel connector.

Get a full bore glass system from @david
I can get you a vac pump sized properly to the job cheap, and then yes you can get a hot water pump and circulator.
You’ll save a good deal of money and have a better system overall

@david has a full bore kit thats better than what you pictured. i paid 1699 for a 5l kit (excluding pump, no chiller)

Did you get a mantle from him? I got my set with out the mantle but with all lab stands for 1k this was several months ago however
