So I am trying to make a homemade arbor press to press on Vape cartridge tips, I don’t see the point in spending almost 200 for something so simple especially when they only cap one at a time.
So the question is, has anyone had success making their own with store bought tools?
$80 all in and if you want to get fancy you could drill a hole that fit the 510 thread in the anvil plate and fix the anvil plate in place so every cart is dummy proof perfectly vertical before you press the tip on. i didn’t find that necessary i just align the cap under it, slam the handle down (once dept stop has been set correctly) and move on to the next one.
They are super legit though, we went up there a little bit ago when we were deciding which automated filler we were going to go with, Thompson Duke or the vape jet, we picked the vape jet about 10 times over, all though we have not used it as we are awaiting delivery, our facility isofficially operational tomorrow so we’ll get it soon now. I cant attest to the machine but I can the guys at vape jet, super nice and will do a bunch for you, I’d hit them up. But I do know that that press will not work with the ccell push ons takes too much force In fact Thompson duke is making a press that can do a 100 at a time and it’s a 30 ton press, so if you’re trying to do the ccell press ons It’s either one at a time or wait for Thompson dukes machine.
Would you want minions going to town with a 30 ton press that could destroy 100 cart… that’s the issue and why we are going to going with the Thompson duke press, and because it’s certified for the purpose, most because the last one…
Eric here. I wanted to get in touch with you about getting one of those alignment plates and jigs. I also have at least a dozen people/businesses looking for it as well. Can we get in touch?
