Well Yes but thc disapeard and isomerization doesn t seem likely for
There is No thc delta 8
Carbon scrub at 78C 30 min
Neutral bentonite checked ph its at ph7
2% by mass ratio in boiling flask

We all say CBN is degradation of thc and make Distillate. Red RED not yellow RED

Guy s seriously wouldn t acitic conditions at least have produced Some delta 8
I mean cbd and thc in extract how can this be
All done in a 500ml boiling flask start to finish 1.5 hours
The only thing that come to think of iT
I did @beakers hexane / methanol 3 % water sop and this is the methanol fraqtion
And i ran the hexane fraction today yust out of curiosity and all fraqtions were deep dark red black
Both fraqtions i have run at 140 micron vac depth and the usual temps
I just mailed the 1 pass on this last fraqtion to the lab to see WTF is in iT
If iT has the thc fraqtion i think there is more to research for then splitting cannabinoids is possible by choice of solvent
Geuss i Need a dab of this see If CBN can get me down Pffffg

I’ve only seen red, it’s actually oxidation aka “red ring of death” in distillate. And anytime I see a black or dark extraction was when the grower foliar sprayed neem.

The crazy thing is this is the half out off th batch i did the methanol / hexane water3% this is the methanol side Bright yellow the hexane side Suposedly without cannabinoids is the red/black outcome
Curious thing the center flask
Has consistency of normal distilllate
That was the reason i send iT on the mail
I had a few terps 1 fraqtion then
Some wak dark shit i rotated flask because i was in cannabinoid land
according to vac depth and temp
And yust caught iT seperate because i. Can checking at all time If Any light would pop up

So If thc degradade to CBN
There is at least 2 compound s
One is CBN and what is the other ?
theory :
CBN is not red but whatever gets lost from thc to become 1 CBN and 2 the red.
And iT turns out CBN likes methanol and stays there and that the degradation by product the RED likes hexane more reason the hexane fraqtion is. So Damn red/black

Quistion i expect the thc to be in the black batch so a lot of red to take out
You mentiond low vac how low to get the red out ?
My diffstak is on another continent
And an other i yust bought not ready to roll

The only caveat I can offer is that my biggest source of error was in using another solvent before LLE was that even a tiny trace of another solvent will throw this off a bunch. So when I used iso first to dewax and did not fully evaporate away all of the iso then for sure it screws with how the separation goes.

Main isseu is we all say red stands for high CBN numbers this is as yellow as yellow can get

O i really think all cannabinoids are there between the two batches
But i am confident that al CBN stayed in the methanol and not in the hexane

this is starting crude
Meaning that seperation of cannabinoids can be done by solvent choice Wich would be a major break for simplicity
Of seperating cannabinoids

Question i still have the biomass iT was given to me as a almost powder
Extracted at -78 C with ethanol denatured with 5 % methanol
I now really want to know If biomass is hemp or cannabis can dna still be recovered from this biomass to figure out what the biomass was
The reason that to research the steps i want to check Which terps and other compounds should be around
Maybe iT matters
