@Sidco_Cat Was this on the north side of Denver?
I’d recommend Guardian Extraction Safety it’s run by the same engineer and support person that helped start HAL Extraction.
Currently going through the same thing. CA DCC wants older HAL Booth control panel upgrade to interlock electrical components with the gas system. So a pump in the room needs to be interlocked and cutoff power at x% LEL. Also forced to recertify equipment after 5 years of operation. Everyone bleeding us out of business.
I am dealing with this as well right now (CA) and I was told the lights should remain ON in an emergency. The interlocking of the lights is only meant to be that they cannot turn on unless the booth fans are already running. So the fans are on if anyone goes in.
THAT makes sense…
If you still need help definitely give Tony call at 303 868 6033
I can agree with above - Tony is a good dude. I’ve got a Hal - and from what I can tell, it should be 100% possible - my AHJ wanted a strobe on the outside of the building in case the sprinkler went off - and we were able to get it wired up pretty easily. The control panel should have a few (3-4) open terminals that can trigger various things in or out of the booth with a simple relay switch!
