its not but i do have another pour and scrape setup thats much bigger…. might consider selling it, undecided…. We did a bunch of runs with it at 50,000 gummies per batch.
hmmm my past experience is in starchless depositing lines and a pectin formulation, looking for automation. How many people does it take to do the pour scrape method at that batch size? how many batches per day? molds able to be used in michigan metrc? (strict on shape)
we had 4 guys total run 2 kettles in a day with plenty of time to cleanup.
total yield was 100,000 gummies.
sure…not automated but i also didnt need a $250k machine and it kept some hard working americans paid.
I don think we will ever go back to automation unless we were doing millions of gummies. For what we are doing, this works fine.

I pay mine $30 an hour each and they work better than robots. Non stop talking about dick and calling eachother black. Honestly…id never hire robots over this crew…they have been such a joy to work with and at the end of the day, profits arent everything.
Stop letting these people jew us down on labor costs for good hand made products.
