What is the round flask and condenser setup on the right side of the picture for?
You can reflux with the valve closed, or open the valve and distill off your solvent (a PTFE tube going into a recovery vessel works for solvent recovery)
How do you reflux? No jacket on the glass
There is a coil inside the condenser above the round flask, cold fluid is pumped through the coil.
Right so how do you reflux (maybe reflux under vacuum at room temp buf not being able to apply heat to the boiling flask seems rather limiting)
Vacuum plus a coil coil will chill the whole system down due to evaporative cooling, no way to keep temps consistent means shitty reactions right?

My apologies, I was referencing the picture with the white background a few posts up. I see what you mean now, and that is a great question.
Any isolate guys out there using this type of setup that can shine some light?
