Beautiful, just making sure my understanding was correct. Thank you for the clarification!
Edit: reading back on it I did just restate the same thing with more words!

There’s a video on here of a DME extraction that seemed pretty interesting…
Believe me (4000 cans used in 2016 of DME) iT s to polar iT s a pain
Bump.
Thanks for the detailed write up. This is goes above and beyond answering my question I had regarding solvents
Bump for the newbs
Great topic. This is very informative. What you wrote as carbon dioxide CH2=O=CH2 is actually dimethyl ether. CO2 has no hydrogens and is O=C=O. The chemist in my could not help but reply to that.
oops that’s not dimethyl ether either. Dimethyl ether is CH3-O-CH3. sorry
Yeah, I realized that after the time limit for edits was up! I write a lot when I am sleep deprived from insomnia, even though I KNOW it often results in mistakes like this! Thank you, though! I always appreciate accurate corrections of my errors! Good catch! And yeah, it’s actually a non-existent compound diagram… I drew the inverse of CO2, then “corrected” it by adding the hydrogens!
