Hey Guys,
I have an Edwards 40 and I’m not sure what I need to connect my valve to the intake. Can I just connect it with a centering ring? Does anyone know what piece I need to connect these is called? The inlet is KF40.
Thanks!
Edit: this is from the manual but I’m confused by this diagram…
you need a horse shoe clamp. I have the same pump
@randlerimper Thanks, is there a centering ring beneath the tube or a gasket?
@sonomasep That won’t work for me, I’m going kf 40 to the cold trap.

@sonomasep I hope it was a good choice! lol
generally, larger the bore, the better the flow and less residual holdup.
the kf40 gasket has a built in centering ring.

Update: for anyone else that needs to mount to their Edwards pump, this is the correct product to use (requires a centering ring!)
Buy the KF 40, C-Clamp, Edwards, E2M40, E2M80 Inlet, Intake, Stainless, Steel, Atlas Copco GVD 80 Atlas Copco GVD 40 here.
