no - start up equipment. leaning towards Delta Cup 15 or 30,a couple of roto vaps, and wiped film distillation.

That’ll do ya! But I would probably do a falling film followed by a reactor instead of the roto’s. A 100L reactor will run you about 25k and falling film around 100k.

Lots of great wipers around, but I’m incredibly partial to lab society’s dual stage wiper for about 500-600k

Invest in a really good falling film, id overbuild on the FFE if I were you as it will most likely be a bottleneck. Also check out membrane filters.

That’s definitely where my question was leading. Should be looking at the market, see what’s selling, and who is selling it and how/why its selling.

Also cheaper to operate. Closed vessels become a must, whether for toxicity, volatility, or flammability. Ethanol is more friendly to open vessel operations…I consider most of the centrifuges on market open-vessel extractors.

Definitely not something I’d recommend in the currently used centrifuges for our industry. Boom!

I was too till I figured out for 300k I can get a steel 12 inch yhchem custom built with custom pumps, chillers, heaters and vacuum.

I’d probably get the yhchem body and frame and fit it with US made chillers, heaters, and pumps

The lab society 3 stage is 800k
This is half that and if I can get the 6 inch up to 7 liters an hour…
