Distilling Crude high in both CBD and THC

I’m working with some crude that is testing in the high 20’s for THC and CBD (maybe 27% CBD 28% THC).

I’m having a little bit of trouble distilling it, it seems harder to push down the short path, I have to add more heat than I traditionally would have to and it’s darker than I would like.

Because both are so low in percentage compared to traditional crude for both cannabinoids would you expect this to cause problems in distillation?

I wouldn’t expect the final product to be more than 40-45% in each. Does working with concentrations this low make it harder to purify?

Is it old material?

I ran into an issue with a split deal from a idiot…I mean buddy. I couldnt get anything wirth while to fraction over. And what I did pull out tasted retched and instant headache.
