I was wondering what everyone sets their chiller at on the collection pot to be able to pour it best
same here. I started with a 10" collection pot that I would freeze in dry ice (i run passive) and I would move my system into a hot water bath at around 38C for collection… I was mainly running 70/30 and i know the propane allows lower collection temps/faster recovery…
Two Questions:

Is it necessary to cool your collection pot before running butane through the material? Moving to a jaxketed collection vessel will not permit cooling unless I splurge on a chiller…

What is the optimal running temperature for 70/30; iso-butane; n-butane? and what are the optimal collection vessel temps for the same solvents?
