Can we get a spreadsheet going of all the brands of vacuum pumps, the oil used in them, the manufacturer ultimate vacuum rating and the user ultimate vacuum read/obtained on a bullseye/vac meter.
A general anecdotal spreadsheet would be useful.

Well i have worked with
Leybold
Edwards
Alcatel
Pfeiffer
And all stated pumps gave me a Reading of 1 micron as proclaimed by manufacturer so 10-4 mbar
And all the above where running on
Normal vac oil
These brands really do what is Saïd they should no doubt
If they don t the pump needs cleaning or repair

Welch vacuum pumps…multiple sizes and capabilities. Not sure of all the specs offhand
Lots of options and variables. What pumps and micron ratings have you had and with which pump?
