so I’ve got an 8” wiper with this stupid magnetic drive… and I’m never able to attain 400rpm because when it gets hot it essentially disconnects from the magnet attached to the motor
Second it sounds like there’s a bearing gone in here… but I’ve no idea if that plausible, cause I don’t know the construction of these, but if there is, that could be what’s causing my issues; listen, she makes noise… can anyone weigh in on the construction of these?
Then on top of that I’m having issues cutting heads and tails with this thing not only because of this stupid wiper stopping mid spin and just dumping down the right side but also because I’m not sure how accurate the pirani gauge is that Comes with this thing.
I was following the vta sop at first. Keeping my vac inbetween 7-3.5 x10^-1 mbar… and then At the suggestion of @Kingofthekush420 i was splitting heads at what was perceived to be 500u at 140 on my body & 30 on my condenser. But honestly it seemed to wind up with too much in the heads portion. Even though the material wasn’t 100% stripped I was seemingly distilling mains at 145u at 300rpm but there seemed to be too much going to the right side and it was still looking kinda green…, I even went off what @Beaker (rip) said in the past about thc distilling at 200c at 20u (set my condenser @100) but then I looked to be pulling a shit ton that being said I know this stuff isn’t totally stripped of the heads cause it was stopping on me yesterday too, but heads usually cause an amber right? Tails a green?.. so I should probably focus on ripping the heads out right?
I’m at the end of my rope here… and to boot my wiper seemed to pull out… waxes or charcoal from this product I’m cleaning up…
I’ve had a long few months… I appreciate any and all help and understanding

Sounds like the drive shaft is grinding the inside wall of the housing. I’m betting your housing is warped or has a bend in it. But you might be lucky… the overhead stirrer could be off center and needs readjustment. You can check with a torpedo leveler.
Nobody will be able to give you an exact answer to solve your problem. To many variables…
If you get out of the hole. Trash your WFE and get a Chemtech, VTA, or Pope.

100% is it probably, cause it wobbles…
I want the kdt-6 that @Darkstar has listed up, well actually I wanna kdt-10, but no ones got one used.
I plan on buying one once I get some income in, cause these Chinese wipers aren’t the creme de la creme for sure @anon42519203 is the only guy I know who kills it with one
Where are you located? We can make a repair/ replacement parts if necessary.

What part of canada?

Well I’m 99% sure my shaft is bent. Cause the wiper wobbles on the inside of the main body
Aside from that it’s me getting proper vac gauges and the adapters to go with em, but that’s has to do with me being able to dial in the system properly

It might not be the shaft it’s self, I’m thinking it is what supports the shaft is worn out, or damaged.

I would be okay with that too. I was planning to disassemble it and take pics, I’m assuming I should continue with said venture?

if you got better options go with em’ otherwise if availability is questionable you may need to fall back on piecing it together.

are the gauges broken, or just not suitable?
Honestly I’ve zero idea what the availability of them are, and I’m not bothered by piecing it together. Not a fan of the gg joint but nothing a little vac grease didn’t ever solve

I’ve no idea if the gauge I have built in is actually accurate
Do you have another (known quality) to compare/ calibrate against?
