Cheapest Single gram of CBD

What’s the cheapest single gram of clean compliant hemp derived CBD you have seen and where?

Crude (FECO, RSO, etc):
TFree Distillate:
Isolate:

I have a little crowd source, cheap as possible, CBD medicine idea brewing and need some market feedback.

Furthermore, what do you think the cheapest a single gram could be split, packaged, labeled, then shipped?

I’m assuming the later costs will be substantially more than the CBD itself.

I think 8.50 a gram is cheapest I have seen for a single gram.

Looks like they charge another $8 for shipping.

Perfect. Exactly what I was looking for. Doing the math on a $1g of isolate with another max $1 package and another maybe $.25 labor cost…

Something doesnt add up. Especially if its direct to consumer

I bet a lot of people are still sitting on CBD that cost them $2+ a gram

Usps non-machinable letter, commercial rate, less than 3.5 oz… $0.61 EDIT: non bulk mailings up to 8oz could cost up to $3.87. Standard dropper bottles would put it in this category.
Printed product label $0.40 (low-mid volume)
Bubble mailer $0.41
Blister pack or capped bottle $0.40-$1.00

Packing & stuffing labor: $1.00
Mailing labor/label: $0.50

Total: $1.82-2.42 plus cost of labor and product

Say $4 per package plus cost of product, $5 with OH&P.

Seriously I was looking into some Groupon deals and if I where desperate
I would launch one of those
The pricing with groupon taking half was still fair in my opinion

lol it’s probably the branding that is driving up the price. Like how you can get a $2 coffee, but slap a starbucks logo on it and it’s instantly a $12 gourmet drink

@Hunter2152 has single grams for $5.00. Im sure he will chime in.

If everyone is just upcharging 1000% I think we collectively can beat that. I’m now investigating how cheaply I can have singles grams of compliant extracts toll packaged and shipped. Run it on like a 5-10% margin

There definitely are a lot of different things to factor into the process. Labor / shipment costs are the prime reasons why cost is so high amongst most distributors. I do agree with @Future , the average price of samples is incredibly high. A lot of vendors just want the sale, not to build long term business relationships. Finding a viable shipping solution that wouldn’t cause losses for the distributors will be a hard ( but doable ) task.

I’ll throw in a number.

I say go 4 it
Looking at those Groupon deals got me thinking to just make pruducts for that one deal
Seriously here in Europe pricing is still of the charts
Yust make 10% cbd tinctures and sell
With oven teck you can get the crude at 0.3% maybe spike with a little isolate
So yust crude and a carrier oil
No thc remediation nesesary and a great product

Thank you for the shoutout xcmtech :boom:.

If you had a powder product, I wonder if you could use a one gram sugar packaging machine.

Run on 5-10% gross margin? Or for 5-10% net income?

My website (fatdogcbd.com) sells single grams of isolate for $9 and 1000mg tinctures for $15. I’m sure there is cheaper out there, but not by much!
