The Ingersoll-Rand senior system engineer designing our culivation+processing facility’s multi-module air compressor gasped when I told him the rosin press needs 150 PSI at 2.7 CFM 
. The final system specs are 100 PSI at >120 CFM with a refrigerated air dryer and then a point-of-use desiccant dryer for the ultrasonic homogenizer.
Trying to provide 150 PSI from the compressor array would have significantly increased the system’s size (and cost!) to account for the high PSI. So, instead, we’re planning a booster module upstream of the Long’s Peak:

Sounds good. I’m small scale so I’m just using a simple Makita compressor you can buy at Home Depot paired with an air dryer to the system. Works great for me.
