Hey all! I’m looking to upgrade to a 50L steel reactor vessel. I’ve practiced on cheap chinese pieces before. Now I’m looking for something that isn’t going to give me anxiety attacks. It seems theres a ton available out there. Some are good, some bad, and some clones… is there any vendors that have a solid machine out there?
Any help greatly appreciated!!
google search ASME pressure vessel. Also depending on your temperatures you may need 316 ss. 3A or higher alloy. They an assortment of polishes for them also.

Used vessels are often a good fit at a great price.

Honestly this is a situation where I might actually recommend Chinese. They will make something with all the features you need specified while these off the shelf ones may or may not have all the ideal fittings you want, etc. I can recommend a company that does ASME stamped vessels.

Look on alibaba. Pick a verified manufacturer with a long history of good reviews. I had a custom BHO jacketed colection vessel made to my own spec. Very good quality.
Only buy from the blue varified. And the more years they have the better.

if you don’t need that it’s worth it.
