So thats crude diluted with pentane in the roto boiling flask?
You used about 5g of powder for each gram of crude?

I think that plus getting it hot keeping the molecules really mobile helps big time. The terps act as 2nd solvent. Just by what Iāve noticed over the years.
I use to the same thing with only residual solvent. I would put the oil in vac for hr or so at full vac to remove the main of solvent. Then take jar and place on high heat. Was always fresher dried material. Month or so old Max or live. Before I found this place
Makes me think that the solvent plays very little with it during hot jar Tek. That itās more to do with purity of the extract plus heat keeping mobile(for large stuff, no heat just sugar)

The dark one is crude and etho, the second is pentane post crc. I actually used right around 6gās to 1g of crude.
Now that Iāve figured out that it works, Iām going to start honing in the correct amount of media.

At what point did u start seeing the yellow come thru?
U recovered ur 76 grams or did u lose some?
My first 100-150g of the last run looked like ur second pic
Thanks for posting, now im going to try the whole column full of t5 and see what it does.
Next test for me will be 500g of crude into 2.5kg of t5 in a 6" spool.
Are u saturing ur b80 with pentane before packing?

Not totally sure yet, had a smidge of a mishap when handling the extract, and spilled some transferring from the flask to a jar. Today was more so just proving that this works.
At first I didnāt run enough pentane through it, so then ran more and started to get a slight hue. With that being the case, itās kinda hard for me to judge when the color finally came through
I did not saturate the media today before the processā¦ just slowly introduced the solvent to the crc to make sure it didnāt channel.
Please let the forum know how your next run goesā¦ Iāll be color remediating the rest of the crude on Friday

Felows Please Remember that all these actions will give a almost clear distillate that OXIDIZES really fast
Giving you a blood red end product in a matter of day s
Of wich the red will take a lot of effort to take out

If closed up it stays water clear, ive got a vial i made over a year ago sitting with a makeshift top on it (not completely air tight). Only thing different i did was an intensive LLe brine wash.
Ive never seen any distillate that doesnt get the top red ring though over time

im a bit worried that some of the medias may have attracted some bad things from being in a smoked out sesh room with bad ventiolation in this appartment and devil tobacco with our herbs here in europe.
The bags are still sealed from killa so i would guess they shouldnt attract anything and be aittight. - AC has a bit of leakage tho.
B80 is its own product. So no that will not replace it.

Ya that hurts to pay that kinda shipping for something so cheap, almost defeats the purpose but if anyone is gonna do it for the cheapest possible its gonna be killa. See if theres a market where you are and buy bulk and piece out might make something one it or at least cover the shipping costs

Ive bitten that shipping bullet a few times already, how it is to halt behind in Eu i guess.
zero market for any powders here, this country properly only seen concentrate and powders together a few times if any. killa definitely is the man, properly overspend on original mediaās lolā¦ kinda first mover here on distillate on semi pro setup, ive still to make any though in a year, buying, buying equipment like im in a hurry everyday. n i am :s
