Anniversary of marijuanna law

We are approaching the anniversary of the very first marijuanna law EVER passed in North America! Next year will be the 400th anniversary of the Law passed in Jamestown that required all citizens to grow marijuanna (hemp).

As might be expected it was a crime to break the law and failure to grow dope was punishable with jail time.

How times have changed, right? Now if you grow it you have to pay THEM or go to jail or both…

I think the marketing opportunity here of a 400th anniversary of NOT ONLY the first legislation ever passed in North America but ALSO the sanest one ever passed is pretty big. I think Oregon should host the first annual Jamestown Days… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Is it just me or does humanity seem to be treading along sort of backwards on the evolutionary gig to you too when you realize the laws we made?
