I’m currently running a 2" pope wiped film unit and the 2nd pass CBD distillate is retaining a fair amount of terpenes.
We currently run our terp pass at
135C evaporator and condenser at 60c
vacuum is artificially set at 1.5 torr
We run our distillate pass at
155C evaporator and condenser also at 60-63C
vacuum is set as low as it can go but is usually 300-500 mtorr
Our terpene pass has a slightly faster drip rate than the CBD pass but our distillate still retains a lot of smell to it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
