yeah… i have a full bore and offered to let this dude just borrow my stuff as im not running anymore till i can legally work with CBD in my state.

I got a brand new wide bore custom setup in the box still and asked over 5 people if they wanted to borrow it to make money…No takers yet.

If i have personal equipment and its not being used. Its always available for any of my homies to borrow and come up. Not a single person has taken me up on that offer for over 3 years. Even said they can use any solvents needed…No takers. Oh Well…they rather be worker then their own boss eventually.

You can lead the horse to water but cant make them drink

Ive literally tried to teach every single one of my friends this craft. Offering to lend them my equipment to learn. :man_facepalming:

That looks rather expensive for such old tech. I would say its not worth it and i could probably get you into a summit setup with some cheaper parts for the same amount… it looks like full price honestly… only the boiling flask, tecieving flask and mantle are really of value imo. Wrong head, monocows suck, lots of gl… no chiller shown, no pump. Ya way too much.

just for clarification to everybody.

tin foil acts as a heat sink and used properly is better for lowering temp than maintaining it.

my two cents…

It’s not the tin foil that insulates. It’s the stagnant air that it traps

“used properly” I utilize small clamp fans an foil to cool certain areas of certain systems at times…

It depends how you use it. For instance NASA uses it in layers. Foil will remove heat if applied in one layer. If you take foil and make six folds it will hold hest on very well.

very true. depends on foil thickness as well. and weather it is folded flat or with ruffles.

I’m losing my mind. Things were going well. I got the mantle up to 200 C and the head temp to 174C. Heads were flowing nicely. I backed down the temp just a bit and then the temp just fell and kept falling. Now I can’t get the mantle up over 180 and the head has fallen all the way down to 41.

Shitty Chinese mantle? Or am I doing something wrong (other than buying shitty Chinese equipment)?

I and many others have made great runs with China junk. You cant always blame the equipment.

When I raced sportbikes, I absolutely LOVED owning 1000cc riders on my 600cc bike. So cant blame the equipment, only the skill.

I fully accept that my skill is non-exististant; but if I set the mantle temp to a higher temperature but equipment does not respond, what am I supposed to do?

Throw it away and thank yourself a fire wasn’t caused by something faulty. Buy something nicer and safer.

That’s your advice, really?

If you have a faulty electrical issue, yes. Just get rid of the problem.

It seems like you only help those who want to drop stacks of cash vs a few hundred. I asked for a quote on a cow, and I feel like I got shoved in the back corner with my inquiry as it wasnt expensive enough for you to bother.

No wonder why more ppl buy from david or leakphang.

Leakphang

Yea, that’s not true. Make the call and ask again, people are busy from time to time. Also so you know. We don’t really make it sell monocows anymore. It’s old expired tech. If we didn’t have something im sorry that didn’t sit well with you.

Um, we did this in a dm, then crickets after you said you would “check” days ago. We both are in business to make money. Albeit 100.00 or 10,000. A dollar earned in more than what was had moments before.

I’ll just go thru david then.

You just proved my point.

People go to buy stuff from others because safety is no concern. I have to pay American wages to Americans working here a honest liveable wage. Quality isn’t cheap and being insured to support yours customers also isn’t cheap. People like David and others knock off my products in a unsafe manner with sub par components becusee cheap bastards tend to put a really heavy price on safety. And instead of asking me for a deal or sale parts they would rather “pull one over on someone” than actually be ethical.

See the china thing isn’t about me being a jerk or really stringent with my quality - it’s a real ethics type thing. People with poor ethics will send my stuff to China and use any excuse they can, even if it’s saying bad things about me that isn’t true. You can say whatever you want but the whole David and lanphan shit is a poor ethics and charachter situation. If im so bad then why are you and everyone else trying to get my products counterfeited to the exact detail from someone else. Guess I’m not that bad after all.
