What was used as the thermal fluid? We have their -80 chiller and we use ethanol but I imagine this one is too cold for ethanol.
We utilized a 50/50 methanol ethanol mixture. We saw it hit-120, but we ran it at -100 in everyday operations so as not to max it out.
We had a - 80 and liked it, but with this -120 we don’t have to max it out, and we were able to remove our in line heat exchangers.

We used this to jacket our extraction vessel on our old Pinnacle AES Skid. We used it for about 200 hours, we ordered a custom watercooled unit and only used this one until we recieved the custom unit.
It operated well as soon as we topped on the R14. We were able to get 55 gallons of ethanol from room temp to -30 in 25 minutes usually.
It is on a 100 amp breaker at 240v
whats the max solvent you have chilled at one time with this chiller?
We usually chilled between 55 and 60 gallons of ethanol at a time with this unit
